Laser
Laser treatment with non-contact technology is extremely popular these days. It is characterised by a greater regenerative capacity and shorter treatment times, resulting in faster healing.
Koryzna Clinic in Szczecin has two lasers:
Erbium-yag laser
It is effective for both hard and soft tissue work and can be used for a wide range of dental procedures.
Precision laser for soft and hard tissue cutting The MORITA AdvErL Evo laser is Japanese precision for use in soft and hard tissue surgery. Like the famous Katana sword, the laser performs very precisely and quickly in cutting and undercutting tissue.
The laser has a wide range of types of TIPS treatment handpieces ideally shaped for the treatment of periodontal disease and peri-implantitis, as well as for many other clinical applications. As a result, the device also offers the highest standard of treatment in other procedures such as:
- Treatment of Class I – V cavities
- Surface modification of enamel
- Surface preparation for filling
- Removal of subgingival calculus
- Treatment of infected PERIO pockets
- Treatment of hypersensitivity
- Open and closed curettage
- Removal of mucosal discolouration
- Inflammation of the stomatiti mucosa
- Coagulation and tissue cauterisation
- Peri-implantitis treatments
- ENDO root canal disinfection
- Flap preparation and bone exposure
- Bone cutting for access to the root apex
- Laser veneer removal
Photobiomodulating laser
Photobiomodulation is a non-ionising treatment with red and near-infrared light that produces no heat. It can be used as an adjunctive therapy to reduce inflammation, relieve pain and facilitate healing.
It has the ability to induce physiological changes such as increasing ATP production, reducing inflammation and pain, stimulating the formation of new collagen fibres, and tissue repair and regeneration.
Photobiomodulation helps to reduce the pain experienced by the patient after a tooth extraction, as well as facilitates the healing of surgical wounds.
Eliminates:
- inflammation,
- irritation,
- pulp exposure,
- hypersensitivity of necks,
- chronic and drug-resistant gingival and periodontal inflammations,
- peri-prosthetic gingival necrosis,
- prosthetic sores,
- dry alveoli and stomatitis,
- inflammations of the maxillary sinuses,
- atrophic pharyngeal mucositis,
- tissue healing after surgical modelling mucosal regeneration,
- stopping post-extraction bleeding,
- suppression of moles and herpes extensive and spot inflammations of the oral cavity caused by herpes virus and other viruses,
- regeneration of nerve fibres.

Treatment of periimplantitis using the erbium-yag laser.
This is the most effective way of getting rid of implant peri-implantitis, an unusual method of removing granulation tissue from the implant surface without damaging it.
